BARN CLUB: How Horses Learn

We use science every day to make horses' lives better. Scientific advances in our understanding of nutrition, exercise physiology, medical treatments and more help our horses live longer, healthier, and happier lives.  

How horses learn is also a well-studied science - no different than any other science we use to make our horse's lives better. Understanding how horses learn can not only make you a more effective rider or trainer, it will help you prevent behaviour problems and give you better insight into solving existing problems.

This month's Barn Club will introduce you to the basics of how horses learn, in a way that you will find easy to understand. Next month, a more detailed, full-day workshop will dive deeper into this science, and will also include demonstrations by Lauren with her horses.  

Barn Club is an educational monthly meet-up, where Lauren Fraser presents different topics on horse behaviour and training. Lauren Fraser is an experienced horsewoman and trainer, and a clinical animal behaviourist. She specializes in working with behaviour problems in horses, dogs, and cats, using effective, animal-friendly training methods. 

ABOUT: Each Barn Club meet-up is only $10 per adult, one child aged 12-18 is free with a paying adult. Please reserve your spot by clicking RSVP! NO TICKET SALES THE DAY OF THE EVENT.
