Mini mules Samwise, Frodo, and mini donkey Bilbo Baggins mysteriously showed up at my client Lynda's house one morning a few weeks back.
No owners came forward, and while they are being fostered by Lynda, they are in the custody of Langley Animal Protection Society (LAPS).
All three minis needed to be castrated, had dentals and hoof trims while under sedation. Samwise is blind in his right eye.
Lynda asked me if I could come down and help her with a few sticky points she is having with taming and training the mini mules. I was more than happy to oblige.
The trio will be up for adoption soon. In the meantime, Lynda and LAPS could use some help. Lynda could use donations of low-sugar hay, a better fitting halter for Samwise (mini-mule-head sized, flat nylon or leather - not rope please) and some Farrier's Formula for Bilbo Baggins.
